That’s a bold promise in the next few hundred words.
Let’s start with a quick review of two critical GAPs that quietly limit evangelistic fruit in most churches.
GAP #1: Openness vs. Readiness
Here’s the surprising reality:
- Roughly 73% of non-Christians around your church say they would be open to a spiritual conversation.
- Yet only about 10% of Christians actually engage in those conversations.
Why the gap?
Because most people know they should…
but don’t know how.
Quite simply: no one equipped them.
GAP #2: Desire vs. Planning
Here’s the second gap:
Only 9% of pastors say they have a clear, intentional plan to equip their people for evangelism.
And to be honest, that’s understandable.
Most church leaders:
- Carry enormous responsibility
- Are stretched thin
- Don’t have ready-made tools to disciple people toward confident gospel conversations
So evangelism often stays important…
but unplanned.
So What’s the Plan to 100x Evangelistic Impact?
Name it clearly:
It’s all of us sent by Jesus — not just one of us.
Recently, Multipli gathered a team of trainers at a fantastic church in Florida for an Awaken Weekend. We asked participants a simple question:
“Why don’t I share the Good News?”
The whiteboard filled up fast. Near the top were these honest answers:
“I was told to do it… but never equipped to do it.”
“It’s the pastor’s job.”
“I’m not on that committee.”
Those answers weren’t resistant.
They were revealing.
Let’s Do the Math
Imagine this:
- Instead of 1 pastor or leader carrying evangelism,
- You equip 10 church members to share the Good News.
That’s 10x impact immediately.
(And let’s be honest — most churches have more than 10 members.)
Step One: Introduce a Regular Plan to Equip Your People
You might already have part of this in your wheelhouse.
If so, it may simply need to move higher on the priority list.

Ask each of those 10 equipped members to name 10 people already in their Monday–Saturday lives who need the Good News of Jesus.
Something powerful happens here.
Evangelism moves from:
- Abstract: “I know I should…”
to - Concrete: “This is where I’m sent. These are the people I’m sent to.”
Monday through Saturday is lived with:
- Greater awareness of the Spirit’s activity
- Openness to divine interruptions
- Hunger to grow in confidence and clarity

The 100x Moment
Now let’s revisit the math:
- 1 pastor → 10 equipped members
- 10 members → 10 people each
That’s 100 gospel relationships.
100x evangelistic impact.
If your church has:
- 100 members → 1,000x
- 250 members → 2,500x
Fill in the number for your church.
