If we don’t make reaching people with the Good News a priority, we never get around to it. Awaken is a rally for God’s people to engage in the mission. You could see it “lighting a fire” across the room.
Through the course of the weekend two young men, one a diesel mechanic and one a parts manager, started praying for another young man at their garage: Rod. Rod was not a Christian but they began to share with Rod about Jesus. Rod and his girlfriend are now coming to church.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who is Awaken Onsite for?
Awaken Onsite is for any Christian with a heart for others. The training works best with at least 25 participants to create strong group energy and meaningful conversation. Because it is highly interactive and facilitation-based, Awaken Onsite can also easily accommodate larger groups—whether gathered through a church, ministry network, book club, retirement community, or another shared space.
When will the in-person sessions take place?
Session days and times are flexible based on your group’s schedule and needs.
Most Awaken Onsites begin with a Friday session from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, followed by an optional happy hour at a local restaurant or brewhouse. This informal gathering creates space for people to connect and share stories of where God is already at work in their lives, helping the training feel more personal.
The training typically continues on Saturday from 9:00am to 12:30pm or 1:00pm, depending on your group’s needs. Group leaders usually provide coffee and light refreshments.
Where will the trainings take place?
Awaken Onsite works best in a space designed for conversation, such as a large room with round tables. Group leaders should also plan to provide a whiteboard, Bibles, and a screen for the PowerPoint presentation.

How do we prepare for an Awaken Onsite?
Once you schedule an initial conversation, our team will work with you to choose a date and walk through everything you need to prepare for your Awaken Onsite. We’ll also send a preparation document outlining all the key details. Groups typically appoint a point person to help coordinate the process.
You’ll also receive a digital promotional pack to help you invite others to participate. You’re welcome to print and use the materials as needed.
How much does it cost?
An Awaken Onsite costs $2,500 total, with all expenses included. This covers travel, training materials, and other related costs.
We want Awaken Onsite to be accessible for groups of all sizes, and we never want cost to be the reason someone cannot participate. If finances are a barrier, please let us know. Scholarship support may be available.
